Festival “Oriental Pearl” will be held in Samarkand on 10-12 April 2015. It’s a grand event when local masters from different regions of Uzbekistan come to present their work and unique handicrafts. The festival will be held in art-center Syuzane – in the heart of Samarkand, near Madrasah Bibi-Khanim.
More than 150 masters will participate in the event. They are designers, musicians, jewelers, chefs, folk Bakhshi from different cities of Uzbekistan. It’s unique opportunity for tourists to know more about arts and crafts, unique creations of local masters.
It’s handmade jewelry, household ceramics, souvenir knives, bags made from national fabrics, carpets, shoes, clothing from natural fabrics and more. The main purpose of the event is to support talented artists, creative designers and preserve the cultural heritage of Uzbekistan.
