The first architectural atlas of Bukhara

bukharaThe presentation of guide-book "Architectural atlas of Bukhara" was held on March 30th at Tashkent Museum of Applied Arts. The guide-book describes main attractions of Bukhara, present detailed maps and photos. The book was presented by KNAUF company and E. Nekrasova, a candidate of archaeology.

The scientist devoted her life to study Uzbekistan history, archeology and architecture, mainly of Bukhara. A wide range of readers can get acquainted with the city, its historical significance and architectural heritage.

The atlas includes more than 20 historic buildings that were built in the period from the XIV to the XX century. It deserves attention not only by architectural monuments but by unique water-irrigation system. Atlas was the result of hard work of talented photographers, artists and cartographers.
