  Traditional tea ceremony will be held in Japanese garden on 21-22 September, organized by Uzbekistan-Japan Center. The members of the tea ceremony will be able to get acquainted with one of its varieties – “ryurey” where master and guests sit not on the floor but on the chairs and the table. This method of drinking tea appeared in Meidzi period to welcome European guests who couldn’t sit on the floor.

  In order to fell the full enjoyment during the tea ceremony, it is necessary to admire the nature, flowers and trees. All these requirements are met Japanese garden. The first day of the ceremony will be held by an experienced specialist with members of special course.

  On the second day, the guests will be able to get acquainted with another variety of the tea ceremony – “nagaita” This process is one of the oldest methods of the tea ceremony, where a stand “nagaita” and shelf “daysu” are used. Here you can use tea set “kaygu” which are decorated on the stand.

  Two tea ceremonies will be held every day, where people over 12 years old will be able to take a part. It is necessary to make a preliminary registration so that to participate in the tea ceremony.
