April 8th. Day 1
Tashkent -Kokand
Arrival in Tashkent. 
Meeting, transfer to the hotel, check-in.  
Tashkent city tour (4-5 hours) includes visiting old and European parts.  Sights to visit: complex "Khazret-Imam" (Mausoleum of  Imam Kaffal al-Shashi, Barak-khan Madrassah, Tellya Sheikh Madrassah, Mui-Mubarak Madrassah), bazaar Chorsu, Amir Timur Square, Theatre Square, Independence Square, Monument of Courage and Memorial to the Victims of Repression. Holy Assumption Cathedral, Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Evangelical Lutheran church.
Transfer to the hotel. Free time. 
Overnight in the hotel.
April 9th. Day 2
Kokand – Rishton - Fergana
Breakfast.
07:00 transfer to railway station
08.00 depart for Kokand by express train
12.00 Arrival in Kokand. Our guide will meet you at the train station. 

Start tour around Kokand (5-6 hours) starts visiting the palace of Khudoyar-Khan Palace of 19 century,Jami Mosque. Norbut-Biya Madrassah, Modari Khan Mausoleum.
Rishton is a town (50 km west of Fergana) that is famous all over the world for its pottery that is decorated according to ancient tradition that is more than 800 years. Masters hand down their trade secrets from father to son. The unique red clay ceramic masterpieces are decorated with naturally made ultramarine, turquoise and azure ornaments known as blue glaze "ishkor".  
The tour program includes visiting the workshops of the famous potter  Rustam Umarov and  master of silk carpets weaver Bahromjon Gafurov.
Transfer to Fergana. Overnight at the hotel.
April 10th. Day 3
Fergana – Andijan - Tashkent
Breakfast
Transfer to Margilan
The excursion starts with visiting Said-Ahmad Hodji Madrassah where craftsmen produce original silk carpets. Walking around the local bazaar and visit to silk factory Yodgorlik where visitors are welcome to observe the process of silk manufacture with traditional decoration called “ikat”.
If the tour is on Thursday or Sunday there will be a walk around the biggest bazaar of Fergana valley Kumtepa.
Kuva is covered with gardens and vineyards. It is famous for its delicious pomegranates. There is a planned visit of Ahmad Al-Fargoni monumental complex. On the way there is a stop in Shahristan town and a visit to knives manufacture workshop.
Transfer to Andijan, one of the most important etrepot of The Great Silk Road. A tour around the town includes visiting The Central Bazaar, the Craftsmen street Hunarmandchilik, Art and Literature Museum, craft centre , Bog-I Shamol garden known as The Garden of Winds , Bobur Museum. 
14:30 Transfer to the station. 
15:15 Departure for Tashkent
20:45 Arrival in Tashkent.
Transfer to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
April 11th. Day 4
Tashkent-Urgench (Khiva)
Early breakfast. Transfer to local airport.
07:00 Flight to Urgench (Uzbekistan Airways HY 51).
08:40 Arrival in Urgench Airport. 
Transfer to Khiva (30 km). Hotel check-in after 12:00.
Start sightseeing tour in Ichan Kala known as “Inner town”:Ata Darbaza, Kunya Ark, Muhammad Rakhim-Khan Madrassa, Muhammad Aminkhan Madrassa, Kalta Minor Minaret, Juma Mosque and Minaret, Islam Khodja Madrassah, Said Alauddin Mausoleum, Pahlavan Mahmud Mausoleum, the last Khiva Khan Allakulikhan’s Madrassah, Tosh Hovli Palace, Caravanserai and Tim Allakulikhan.
Transfer to the hotel.

April 12th. Day 5
Khiva-Bukhara
Breakfast at the hotel. 
09:00 Transfer to Bukhara via the Kizil Kum desert (475 km).
On the way there is a stop to take pictures and enjoy the picturesque views of the Amudarya River. Arrival in Bukhara in the afternoon.
Check–in the hotel. Free time.
Overnight at the hotel.
April 13th. Day 6
Bukhara
Breakfast at the hotel. 
09:00 Sightseeing walking tour (walking) of Bukhara with visiting Samanids Mausoleum, Chashma-Ayub Mausoleum, Bolo-Haus Mosque, Ark Fortress, Minorai-Kalon and Poi-Kalon Mosque, Miri-Arab Madrassah, Toki-Zargaron, Kosh Madrassah (Ulugbek and Abdulazizkhan), Magoki-Attori Mosque, Lyabi-Hause ansemble. 
A visit to three trading domes (covered bazaars). In XVI century it was the center for trade of silk, jewelry and even for money exchange. Today tourists can also buy here different souvenirs of a wide range: from small souvenir magnets to the famous Bukhara carpets.

April 14th. Day 7
Bukhara-Gijduvan-Samarkand
Breakfast at the hotel. 
09:00 Start driving to Samarkand. On the way visit workshop of famous Uzbek pottery master Abdulla Narzullayev in Gijduvan city. There you can learn how ceramics are making, participate in master-class of painting ceramic plates and Easter eggs*. 
Arrival in Samarkand, check in the hotel.

April 15th. Day 8
Samarkand
Breakfast.
A countryside trip near Samarkand starts with visiting silk carpet factory “Hudjum” where female masters weave incredibly amazing unique patterns decorated with ancient ornaments. The weaving technology is handed down from generation to generation. The visitors can observe the process and order a carpet of any design.
Paper factory Meros is famous for its extraordinary  technology of producing paper that is based on using exclusively natural raw material. The quality  of paper is very high so that it can be preserved for 300-400 years.
The cave of Hazrat Daud, from 0.5 to 4-m wide, up to 15-m high and up to 60-m long, has a dark tunnel with Daud’s handprints and footprints at the end of it. If a person touches them it is believed to make all the wishes come true.  A visit to Roman Catholic Church, Cathedral of St.Alexis and The Church of St. George the Victorious.

April 16th. Day 9
Samarkand-Tashkent
Breakfast. 
Sightseeing tour of Samarkand with visiting: Gur-Emir Mausoleum (Tamerlan's tomb), Registan Square (a heart of the city), Bibi-Hanum Mosque, orient bazaar Siyab, Shakh-i-Zinda Necropolis and Ulugbek's Observatory, Mausoleum of Khodja Doniyor known as Saint Daniel. 
16:00 Transfer to railway station.
17:00 Depart Samarkand by high-speed train “Afrosiab”.
19:10 Arrival in Tashkent. 
Transfer to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
April 17th. Day 10
Tashkent
Breakfast at the hotel.
Transfer to the airport. Departure.
End of the tour.

Please bring cash USD for your expenses in Uzbekistan. You can change Euro but the rate will not be profitable for you. The situation with credit card isn’t good and sometimes it’s difficult and even impossible to get money.
There may be various different cars/drivers and guides during your trip. But it’s possible to book one guide for the full tour time. He/she will be with you all the time and help quickly settle small questions.
